Grip is king! For sand based pitches look at plenty of spikes to get you sure footing. For sand dressed and water based pitches a hockey trail shoe grip is great, or a more bladed like grip.

Protection and comfort are the next consideration. Generally hockey shoes have thicker soles to lift you off the turf and reduce contact between your foot and the ball. Some shoes will have protection in the toe and heel ensuring you are not just comfortable but protected well too!
