4. Membership Points
4.1 Members earn “10 points” per “1 pound” spent on their purchase of products sold (the “Points”) and shipped by Decathlon UK in one of the Stores, on the Website or Decathlon App. The Membership also includes the Marketplace products. Decathlon UK gift cards and delivery charges are excluded, and Members will not earn any Membership Points for their purchases.
4.2 To collect Points for online purchases, each Member will be required to log in to their Account.
4.3 To collect Points for purchases of products made in the Decathlon Scheme, Members must either scan or introduce their Account number at the checkout, or present it to a Store employee, at the time of each purchase. Decathlon UK will be under no obligation to award any points retrospectively after the purchase.
4.4 If you return a product and request a full or partial refund from Decathlon UK, the Points corresponding to the refunded amount will be deducted from your Points balance. Where your remaining balance is insufficient, the balance will be updated to a negative figure.
4.5 Decathlon UK reserves the right to change this Points-earning mechanism, at its sole discretion, at any time and without giving a reason or prior notice.
4.6 Members can earn Points by:
(i) To welcome you, by joining the Membership you will get 1000 Points.
(ii) You will get 100 Points when purchasing from Decathlon UK and leaving a product review. This offer will be limited to 500 Points per year. The Points will be added the week following the completion of each review, to the Account.
(iii) Performing sports, provided that you exercise for (2.5 hours) two hours and thirty minutes per week and that your performance is recorded on the sports applications compatible with the Membership (the “Sports App”). Earning Points through this practice is limited to 150 Points per week, and is subject to compliance with the two conditions above. The Points will be added the week following the completion and recording of the sports practice, to the Account. The specific conditions for this way of earning Points, including the list of Sports App from which physical activity can be recorded, can be consulted in the space dedicated to each Member's Account.
4.7 The accumulation of Points on purchased products starts as soon as a Member joins the Membership. Decathlon UK is under no circumstances required to allocate any Points for purchases made prior to the Member joining the Membership.
4.8 Members can check their current Points balance on their Account or communications related to the Membership. i.e. emails.
4.9 Members may spend their Points on the Website, App and In-Stores. To do so, Members will be required to log in to their Account and convert their Points into a Voucher to be able to make an online purchase. To use their Voucher in Stores, Members must either scan their Voucher and Card at the checkout or present them to a Store employee at the time of purchase.
4.10 Decathlon UK reserves the right to change or terminate the Points earning mechanism at its sole discretion at any time, without giving a reason or prior notice.
4.11 The collected Points will be valid for 12 months, and therefore Members must use them within 12 months from the collection date.
5. Vouchers
5.1 Every Member who has earned 2000 Points has the option to convert these Points into a Decathlon UK voucher (the “Voucher”) worth 3 pounds and valid for 12 months from the date of issue. If Members want to continue accumulating Points, they can get a 5-pound Voucher when reaching a total of 3000 Points as well as a discount Voucher of 10 pounds upon reaching a total of 6,000 Points. To convert Points into a Voucher, Members must log into their Account and follow the instructions provided in the membership points section by converting Points into a barcode with the stated amount.
5.2 The Voucher must be used only by the Member who is an Account holder, who has earned Points under their Account, and who has triggered the creation of the Voucher. That Member may use the Voucher for purchases made through the Website and using their Account or for purchases in Stores in accordance with these T&Cs.
5.3 Each Voucher must be redeemed in full for a product sold and distributed by Decathlon UK so that the Voucher is deducted from the purchase price, thus reducing the actual total amount to be paid and by doing so effectively invalidating the Voucher.
5.4 The Voucher must be redeemed in full in a single transaction. Where the product purchase value is less than the Voucher value, the unused Voucher balance will be lost. For the avoidance of the doubt, Decathlon UK will not be liable for any losses or compensation in this regard.
5.5 The Voucher is non-transferable and only the Member redeeming their Points is entitled to use it in accordance with these T&Cs.
5.6 The Voucher can only be redeemed for products as specified above. Services, home delivery, package delivery and any other non-product-related transactions are excluded.
5.7 The Voucher cannot be exchanged for cash.
