Welcome to our martial arts shop. Whichever you feel most drawn to, it's important to remember that the practice of combat sports is more about control, discipline, fitness and mental and spiritual development than 'fighting'. Your instructor will likely tell you to keep yourself protected at all times by keeping your hands up or moving around the mat, and the same goes for choosing the right gear - a head and mouth guard, body armour and clothing that won't get in the way are all important.
