Why use training bands for weight training?

Resistance bands are elastic accessories that can replace kettlebells or dumbbells.Rather than relying on the weight of the equipment, you take advantage of the resistance of the band to stimulate your muscles, while easing the strain on your joints. This gives you the freedom to practise your favourite cross training and weight training exercises, with the added advantage of a compact tool that fits easily into your sports bag at the end of your session!

How do you explain the resistance of a training band?

The resistance of a training band, also known as a resistance band or elastic band, refers to the force required to stretch the band.The resistance is measured in kilograms. For example, if the resistance of an elastic band is 15 kg, you need to apply a force of 15 kg to stretch the band to 200% of its length.

What parts of the body can be worked with training bands?

Training bands allow you to work different muscle groups in the same way as with traditional weights. They can be used for all your favourite exercises: - Bicep curls; - Front or side raises; - Jumping jacks; - Pull overs; - Squats; - Pull-ups; - Chin-ups. This pack includes 3 elastic bands of 15 kg, 25 kg and 35 kg. For muscle strengthening, we advise you to start with a low-resistance training band. When you can do lots of sets with this elastic, you're ready to move up to the next resistance.To help you with pull-ups, for example, opt for a high-resistance band.The stronger it is, the easier your pulling movement will be.

How to use a training band safely

Always make sure you check the anchoring point of the elastic band to prevent any risk of it coming loose during your workout (especially if you're using it as a support for your pull-ups). If you notice any nicks or white marks on the band, avoid using it, as this could indicate a risk of breakage during exercise.

How to look after your training bands

Our bands are not designed to be used in a pool. This is because we haven't tested their resistance to chlorine.To preserve all their qualities, we also recommend that you avoid storing them in places exposed to wide variations in temperature or in direct sunlight. Finally, to keep them in good shape for a long time, do not use them with abrasive or sharp objects.

What are the dimensions of the elastic bands in this pack of 3 training bands?

The 15 kg elastic band is 1.04 m long when slack and 13 mm wide. The 25 kg elastic band is 1.04 m long when slack and 24 mm wide. The 35 kg elastic band is 1.04 m long when slack and 28.5 mm wide.
