Open or full foot fins? The decision is yours

Snorkelling fins are excellent fins for snorkelling in swimming pools or the ocean. Many snorkelers enjoy the flexibility that full foot snorkelling fins offer. Although snorkelers can (and do) wear open foot fins, this is a personal choice, for most people full foot fins are fine for the first time snorkelling, for example on holiday or when learning to snorkel.

Another way to spot these kind of fins is that they're often a little shorter in length than other kinds of fins. This is because divers who go deeper and carry more equipment on their backs require extra fin length to move more easily underwater.
