The Quechua design team, based at the foot of Mont Blanc, creates products that are continually tested for real-life conditions.
Warmth test
In our specially designed thermal chamber, we recreate the temperature, wind (5 km/h) and humidity conditions you encounter in the mountains during a 5 km/h walk. This fleece has a comfort temperature between 10 and 13°C (without a jacket on top).
Strength test
We test all our hiking fleeces for strength. Resistance to wear from backpacks, moving arms from pilling, the sturdiness of seams, repeated washing, colour-fastness, the effect of UV rays, and contact with perspiration are all tested to ensure the product performs at its best.
Store folded in a clean and dry place
Do not dry clean.
Drying in tumble dryer possible. Low temperature, maximum drum exhaust temperature 60°C.
Maximum wash temperature of 40°C. Normal treatment.
Do not iron.
Bleaching excluded.
It is calculated by modelling the life cycle of the product following the recommendations of the PEF methodology (Product Environmental Footprint). This carbon footprint is an estimate. It may therefore be slightly overvalued or undervalued. Learn more
Using recycled polyester rather than conventional polyester reduces the CO2 emissions linked to the material by at least 16%.
