- Isn't my hat UV proof?Don't worry, the fabric used for this hat blocks UVs with a UPF over 50 (therefore excellent protection). Despite this, the standards also impose a certain coverage to be able to claim the product is UV proof. The brim of this sun hat is not sufficiently wide to meet the required standards. Nevertheless, your scalp will be well protected.
- How do you measure a fabric's quick drying capacity?The product is machine washed 3 times then line dried, then we immerse it in water and measure how long it takes to get back to its pre-wash weight. This hat scored an impressive 5 out of 5 stars, returning to its pre-washed weight in less than 80 minutes!
