What is a reducer used for?

Are you between shoe sizes or have your liners got a bit thinner and you can feel your foot moving inside your boot? This 3 mm reducer elevates the foot inside the ski boot, thus reducing the internal volume. It's a very simple device but it's very effective. If there is a lot of extra volume inside your boot, you can use 2 reducers, one on top of the other.

Which size?

This 3mm reducer comes in 2 sizes: 2/7 and 7/12. You just need to choose the correct size range. If you take a size 7, go for the 7/12

Instructions

Remove the shell liner. Remove the insole from the liner. Place the insole on top of the reducer. Using a pencil, trace the shape of the insole onto the reducer. Cut around this shape using a pair of scissors. Place the reducer, followed by the insole, inside the liner. Then replace the liner inside the shell.
