We rigorously test QUECHUA products at our design centre at the foot of Mont-Blanc and then in the field under real-world conditions.
Waterproofing test
For waterproofing tests, we submerge the shoe in water (up to mid shoe) using a mechanical arm to simulate walking. This allows us to determine how long the shoe can stay dry, both in terms of time and distance. Then we tested the shoe out in the field.
Grip testing
We use lab tests to assess the shoe's grip on different surfaces and conditions.
