Technical information

CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE OF VIRALTO II FOOTBALL BOOT?

For optimal comfort, we recommend you wear one size less than usual. Unlike synthetic materials, the supple natural leather upper will stretch and mould to your feet.
Your usual shoe size - 1 = your VIRALTO II size.
(If you usually wear size 9½ boots, we recommend you buy size 9 VIRALTO II boots).

THE ULTIMATE CHOICE FOR LOVERS OF COMFORT: LEATHER FOOTBALL BOOTS

If you're a playmaker who likes leather boots, you'll love these. The front section of the VIRALTO II football boot is made from calf leather. High quality and traceable, it complies with all the regulations currently in force. In collaboration with our approved supplier, we use the best parts of the hide to guarantee the best possible quality in the parts of the boot that are most in contact with the ball.

FLEX-H AND DUAL HARDNESS TECHNOLOGIES: WHAT ARE THEY?

In order to provide you with optimum flexibility for sudden changes of direction and push-offs, mad dashes and between-the-lines passes, we use the following two technologies: The first, Flex-H, on the front of the outsole, allows the sole to bend following the shape of a horizontal "H". The second, Dual Hardness, combines materials of different hardness qualities, providing more flexibility or support depending on the targeted zone.

"SAFE CARE": FOOTBALL BOOTS THAT PUT YOUR FEET FIRST: DO THEY EVEN EXIST?

We designed these football boots together with a podiatrist specializing in sports and professional football. Together, we designed and validated the various technologies and concepts used in these football boots.
For example, when creating the outsole, the number of studs, their rounded shape, and their positions on the boot, were specifically researched and designed to ensure the best balance of grip and comfort.

SO WHAT IS AN OPTIMAL STRIKE ZONE?

The main area of contact with the ball has been increased thanks to the asymmetric lacing system. The laces have been shifted 10 degrees to the side to create an optimal control and strike zone. Now you've got no excuse for not producing your A game.So it's goodbye to poor ball control, inaccurate passes and shooting into Row Z. Your coach and team-mates are sure to be thrilled.

WANT TO KNOW HOW IT FEELS TO WEAR A VIRALTO II FOOTBALL BOOT? LET'S TAKE A TOUR.

These football boots are the result of a host of decisions taken with one goal in mind: to make them the most comfortable football boots around.Calf leather upper at the front of the foot, foam and suede reinforcements in the heel, preformed sockliner with an anti-irritation top coating, and a calf leather tongue fixed to the base of the boot and which stays firmly in place and offers maximum, foot-hugging support.

WHAT'S VIRALTO?

VIRALTO is our all-new range. It features no fewer than four new football boots, designed with comfort and flexibility in mind. Two of them are made of leather and two of synthetic materials. Each boot has something to offer you in terms of meeting your expectations, requirements and budget.
They come with FG, MG, SG and Turf soles.
So now you've got no excuse for not controlling the ball and giving opposing players the runaround.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR VIRALTO II LEATHER FOOTBALL BOOTS

Are you one of those people who sticks their mud-covered boots in their bag after training and only pulls them out again the next time they're back on the pitch? JUST STOP IT RIGHT NOW!Like all boots, they need a little care and attention. Like all leather boots, they demand a bit of care.
And if all you do is give them a wash in the shower, then it's a red card for you too.So get yourself a soft brush, a cloth, some wax and watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8M6seZPW

TURF (TF), MULTI (MG), SCREW-IN (SG); A LOOK AT THE DIFFERENT FOOTBALL BOOT SOLES

The VIRALTO II comes in three different sole variants: TF, MG, SG. These refer to the type of pitch that you will play on:
- TF (Turf or stabilized): for hard ground or very short synthetic grass pitches. The soles are made of rubber with a multitude of small studs. - MG (Multi-Ground): with round, hollow studs made for synthetic or natural dry grass. - SG (Soft Ground): for soft or muddy pitches; a hybrid sole that has 6 screw-in studs.
