SHORT BLADE CONFIGURATION
GM short handle adult bats come in 2 configurations. Traditional is a 555mm blade length with a 295mm handle, or as in the case of the Diamond a short 540mm blade with a longer 310mm handle. This allows for faster bat speed, bigger swells, more dynamic sweetspots and explosive power
SIGNATURE GRADE WILLOW
Signature Willow is a seasoned unbleached grade 2 English willow. With minor blemishes to the willow there may also be some colour to one edge. As all English willow has differing characteristics the grain count across the blade will vary from blade to blade, making each bat unique.
HANDLES
All GM Bats are fitted a quality treble sprung cane handle, which is bound with twine and fitted in the case of the Diamond with a Hex grip, GM's most extreme grip.
GM NOW
All GM Signature Cricket Bats are GM NOW! factory prepared. Raw linseec oil is applied to prevent cracking and keep moisture within the blade, "Knocked In" by our bat makers. Clear anti-scuff applied to edges and face of the bat for resistance, this should not be removed.
TOETEK
The Toe of GM bats has been treated with DriGuard to resist damp and minimise toe swell. In addition a shaped toe guard is also applied to the bottom of the bat as extra protection against feathering and damage from tapping at the crease.
