Design details
Impact protection
The inside of the fetlock boot is lined with a shell moulded in supple, Robust plastic. The fetlock boot is lined in soft, 7 mm foam and mesh for optimal comfort. The shell protects the horse while the lining makes them more comfortable.
Design & style
Our team of equestrian designers worked to create fetlock boots with an anatomical shape for a perfect fit. The inside of the shell is hollow to prevent pressure on the tendon. The upper part of the fetlock boots is also in mesh so your horse can move naturally when walking.
Sizing
These fetlock boots are available in sizes M and L. They run big. Size M fits horses between 1.55 m and 1.65 m. Size L fits horses over 1.70 m.
M = CS:
Length: 27.6cm
Height: 14.5 cm
L = FS:
Length: 30cm
Height: 15.5 cm
Care advice
We recommend washing your protectors on a regular basis to prevent dirt building up that could irritate your horse. These fetlock boots can be machine washed. To make cleaning easier, we recommend rinsing your protectors off with a hose after every session. The mesh lining helps them dry quickly. Don't worry - they'll be dry before your next session.
Versatility
These protectors were designed for jumping, but they are suitable for other uses. They can be used for many other disciplines. You can use them for everyday flatwork or even on rides.
Mix & match
To give your horse the best limb protection, you can also pair your fetlock boots with the 560 mesh boots. They are made from the same materials and offer the same levels of protection, comfort and fit for your horse's hind limbs. Showjumping competition regulations require all of these protective boots to be worn (Club, Amateur, and Young Horses).
