Benefits of Polycotton or Technical Cotton
The Polycotton, also known as Technical Cotton, has the following benefits:

light - better breathability than a traditional polyester tent
- a longer lifespan
- a more lightweight tent than a 100%-cotton tent
- A more pleasant living environment, in terms of sound reduction, for instance
Still, remain vigilent because Polycotton is a fabric that requires special attention when drying and when cleaning off stains.

Bedroom: There is an upper air vent outside the two rear bedrooms. Inside, there is a lower ventilation hatch on each side.
The bedrooms have mosquito nets on the top section of the doors.
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable. The aim is to expose each side of our tent to the same wind intensity.
Properly pitched (minimum 7 PSI inflation), with the guy ropes deployed, this tent remains habitable in wind speed 8, measured at 70 km/h.
Feel free to re-inflate your inflatable poles regularly during your stay at the campsite (minimum 7 PSI).
Waterproof and taped seams
We test our tents to validate their waterproofing. The first test is done in the laboratory, 3 hours under 200 litres of water per hour per sqm, the equivalent of tropical rain of 200 mm per hour. The second test is done in the field under real-life conditions by our teams. This tent is fitted with a polycotton flysheet. It has a 195 g/sqm waterproof groundsheet. (groundsheet: 5000 Schmerbers).

Our inflatable poles for the polycotton tent have a 3-layer arch design: a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) inner tube, a polyester cover and a polycotton cover.
Living room reinforcement - There's an aluminium bar in the living room to stiffen the structure.
Tent pegs - All our pegs are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm.
6 ground pegs are included.
Our camping tents have been designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) when camping or in the great outdoors. Continued exposure to UV rays over several weeks can damage the fabric. These products are not classified as “garden furniture” and aren’t designed to be left outdoors permanently.
