CHOOSING THE RIGHT SHOE
For trail running, don't hesitate to choose one shoe size over your normal size to ensure optimal comfort on downhill sections and prevent your toes from hitting the front.Recommendation: Keep your toe nails short and, before any downhills, check that your laces prevent your foot from sliding to the front of the shoe.
Buying and fitting tips
Try on both shoes, standing up, with the socks you use for your trail runs.Try on a few models and sizes if necessary. Two points of comfort should be checked:the heel base and the forefoot for downhill sections.Feel free to jog up and down in the shop. Gradually use your shoes on your first trail runs to wear them in, before extending the distance.
