Return policy for Decathlon Members

At Decathlon we pride ourselves on the quality of our products and our dedication to customer satisfaction. Exclusively for Decathlon Members (excluding B2B Decathlon Members), we allow up to 365 days to return unwanted products (unused, clean and in their original packaging), subject to the below conditions and exclusions. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Please note that in order to take advantage of the Decathlon Membership benefits, you must ensure that you provide your Decathlon Membership when you make your purchase. We will then be able to find electronic copies of your receipts in your Membership account. If you forget to scan your Membership at the time of purchase in store, that specific purchase will not qualify for the benefits of Decathlon Membership, including the 365 days’ returns.

Return policy for Non-Decathlon Members

You have the right to return unwanted products (unused, clean and in their original packaging) up to 30 days from the date of purchase with proof of purchase, subject to the below conditions and exclusions. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Return policy exclusions

We cannot accept returns of:

- products that have been used, are unclean or are not in their original packaging;
- products that are damaged on purpose or not properly maintained;
- products used outside of their intended means or not in accordance with their instructions (including products used for commercial purposes);
- products subject to normal wear and tear;
- personalised products;
- perishable products such as food and drink, gas canisters and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) due to health and safety reasons.

Please note: based on our assessment (condition of the product and length/frequency of use), we reserve the right to accept or refuse a return, and in the case of an accepted return, we will choose the most suitable solution (repair, exchange, partial or full refund).

What if there is a manufacturing defect with the product?

On the rare occasion you have a product with a manufacturing defect, don't worry, all Decathlon branded products come with a minimum warranty of 2 years. 

If a faulty product is returned within 30 days of purchase, with proof of purchase, you have the right to a full refund.

If it is beyond 30 days of purchase, provided you have proof of purchase, we will firstly offer a repair as a solution. If we are unable to repair your product within a reasonable period, we will exchange it. If no equivalent product is available, we will offer a full refund.

As a reminder, remember to use your Decathlon Membership whenever you shop with us to store electronic copies of your receipts to your Membership account.

The product is not a Decathlon Brand product, what is the warranty?

Other branded products are guaranteed by Decathlon for 1 year unless specified on the product. This does not affect your statutory rights.

How to return in-store purchases?

Items purchased at Decathlon stores can be returned to any Decathlon store.

When returning the goods you should have a receipt or a loyalty card used at the time of purchase.

Please note that in-store purchases cannot be returned by post.

Please note that we will only be able to refund you on the same card than the one used for the purchase

How to make a free return to Decathlon?

To make a free return via carrier, you’ll need to create an online return form (mandatory)

Here's how

1. Navigate to My Account and login using your email address and password
2. Click on My Purchases
3. Select the order you want to make a return for
4. Click on Make a return
5. Select the Return Reason
6. Validate your return

Please print the return label and attach it on your parcel.

Also include a written note inside your parcel stating your order number starting with GB. Without this detail we won’t be able to take action on your return.

Once we’ve received your parcel at our warehouse, we’ll process your refund.

If you have several orders to return, you have the option to return them at the same time. However, please complete the return process for each order separately and remember to include the return form for each order inside the package.

Please note we are unable to take any returns online for items that have been bought in stores or through our Decathlon Partners.

If you change your mind and want to return to the store, it is necessary to cancel the online return request.

How does a free return with Asda work?

You can return your order free of charge at over 600 ASDA stores!

Here’s how to return at ASDA

1. Create your ASDA return label using the following link
2. Your return parcel should not exceed 60x60x90cm and 25kg
3. Print it and attach it on your parcel. If you can't print your label at home, download the QR code on ASDA website and print it in store.
4. Drop your parcel at your local ASDA ToYou collection point, free of charge!
5. Don’t forget to write down your order number on a piece of paper and include it in your parcel.

Remember to keep hold of your receipt to track your return parcel.

How to return items from Marketplace orders?

Marketplace products are products supplied by Decathlon’s Partners and sold on decathlon.co.uk website


Returns policies may vary from Partner to Partner. Our customer service team can advise how to return your product(s) to the Decathlon Partner, subject to that specific Partner’s Terms and Conditions, which you can find on the relevant product page.

Can I create a return on the Decathlon App?

No yet, but you can via our website – all you need to do is:

1. Log in to your account
2. Select ‘my purchases’
3. Select ‘make a return’
4.Follow the steps from there

If you have several items to return you can include them all in one package – just make sure you create a return for every item and include a form for each one inside.

If you bought your item in store, you’ll need to return it in store.

If you change your mind and want to return your item in store, you’ll need to cancel your return request online.

How to return an online order by post?

To return your online order by post, please follow these steps:

Click on "My Account"
Sign in
Click on "My Purchases"
Click on "Make a Return"
Click on the item(s) you want to return (Please note we do not offer any exchange option at the moment)
Select the return reason
Validate your return
Please include in your parcel a written note stating your order number (or shipping group number). Without this detail we won’t be able to take action on your return.

How to return an online order in store?

Items purchased online can be returned to any Decathlon store.

Please note, you do not need to download/print your online invoice.

To process the refund, the store will need your email address and order number starting with GB.

Please note that we will only be able to refund you to the original payment method.

If you have created an online return and want to return to the store, it is necessary to cancel the online return request.

When will I receive my refund?

Within 2 business days from when the products were received in our warehouse, you should get an e-mail confirmation that the return was processed.
Within 12 business days from when the products were received in our warehouse, you should receive a refund via the initial method of payment used to place the order.

Credit/Debit Card

If you paid online using credit or debit card, you will be refunded to the same card used to pay for the order.

Paypal

If you paid online using PayPal you will be refunded to your Paypal account

Gift Cards

If you paid online using a gift card, we are not able to refund this amount back to your bank account. A new gift card will be automatically generated by our system and sent to you via email. Please note that if you paid an additional amount with your credit card or Paypal, this will automatically be refunded within 7 business days.
If you split your payment between gift card and another method (e.g. gift card and PayPal), you'll be refunded by gift card first and any remainder will be refunded via the other method.

Payment at the Till


If you have placed an online order with one of our teammates in store and paid at the tills, you will be contacted by our finance department to arrange a refund. Please note that these kinds of refunds can take longer, since we need to contact you directly



Please note: the original delivery fees will be deducted from your refund, unless you exercise your right to cancel the order as explained in the Terms of Supply

How to return faulty goods?

You have the option to return the faulty items to one of our stores, where Decathlon team members can have a look at them and investigate the fault.

Alternatively, you can contact our Customer loyalty Team to arrange a return of your online order by post.

Please note that in this case you may be asked to provide pictures showing the damage.

Decathlon cannot organise a return if products have been damaged on purpose or used outside of their means.

If the item is no longer under warranty, unfortunately we will not be able to exchange or refund a faulty item. You can find warranty information of each product page on our website.

We may be able to repair products which are no longer under warranty. Please contact your local store for more information

How to return a bike?

You will need to pack the bike securely in the original box before sending it back.

To return your online order by post, please follow these steps:
