Technical Information

100% UV Protection

Because UV rays are harmful to eyes, all our goggles are certified 100% ANTI UV by the EN 174 standard. Goggles are the best protection response as they perfectly enclose the eyes preventing any UV rays from passing through, including reflected light

S1 lens

S1 is a light lens for seeing better in bad weather, fog or under the snow. For this product, we selected a lens with a pink tint to improve the view of the terrain in bad weather. However the vision remains poor in such weather conditions. You must be careful and not place yourself in danger in unknown and hazardous areas.

Optimal anti-fogging

The "OPTIMAL" anti-fogging is made up of a double ventilated lens with an internal treatment and an air vent on the frame that ventilates the inside of the ski goggles.
To provide good ventilation inside the goggles, do not block these vents, with a neck warmer, for example.
Be careful not to rub the inside of the lens but carefully dab the surface to maintain the effectiveness of the anti-fogging treatment for as long as possible.

Ventilated dual lens

Goggle design with double ventilated lens to reduce condensation. Indeed, the air trapped between the 2 lenses provides thermal insulation. Thanks to this, the thermal shock between the inside and the outside of the goggles is lower and slows down the formation of condensation on the inside lens of the goggles. The inside lens also has an anti-fog treatment and is ventilated by vents to ensure good air circulation.

Spherical lens

The spherical shape produces the least optical distortion.
The outer lens is made from a highly shock resistant polycarbonate material and the inner side is made of acetate.

Compatibility with a ski helmet

The G 520 S1 Ski goggles in size L can be worn with glasses (max width of 145 mm). The foam on the sides and the shape of the skirt of the goggles provides enough space of the temples of glasses to pass underneath.

40 mm wide polyamide, polyester and rubber elastic with a non-slip silicone strip

Microfibre case

Remember to protect the goggles – the lens in particular – from scratches before and after use by using the Wed'ze microfibre case. This case also cleans the lenses and the material is perfect for looking after them without causing scratches.

Coloured Flash lens

Coloured coating on the outside of the ski goggle lens (known as coloured Flash) to reduce the percentage of light that gets to the eye. This reduces glare and makes the vision clearer in bright conditions

EN 174 Standard

The EN 174 standard is a European standard applicable to goggles used for eye protection during Alpine skiing or similar activities such as snowboarding.

Avoiding condensation

Moisture causes condensation. You must therefore make sure that the foam does not get soaked in water, e.g. by placing the goggles on a wet helmet or a hat. Falling face down in the snow can also cause your goggles to fog up. Whatever the circumstances, you must dry your ski goggles thoroughly overnight to remove any moisture and hit the slopes on the following day with perfectly dry goggles.

2 sizes

Goggles are chosen based on head size. Select size S for a size below 55 cm (or formerly S/M), from 56 cm select L (or formerly L/XL)
