Our engineers have created these snowshoes for your occasional hikes. Ideal on packed snow, now you can go exploring snowy trails. Hi-tech and grippy, they are as easy to use as they are comfortable. user weight: <= 90 kg sizes: 4 to 12

Technical Information

How to use your snowshoes properly?

Before putting them on:
There is one snowshoe for the left foot and one for the right foot, so make sure you have the correct shoe on the right foot with the pictogram showing this information on the snowshoe grid.
Your snowshoes must be properly adjusted to ensure your safety.
1/ Your foot must come up against the foot stops (front and back) to optimise support of your boot.
2/ Depending on the model, the straps or buckles must be tightened as much as possible.

Choose your snowshoes according to your weight:

The choice of snowshoes is based on the weight of the hiker (including the weight of his or her backpack) in order to stay on the surface of the snow. This is called lift. There are different sizes of snowshoes to best fit hikers' build and practice.
Our advice:
15 to 50 kg: kids’ model
40 to 80 kg: small to medium grid
60 to 120 kg: large grid

Using poles for increased stability on snowshoes:

We strongly advise you to bring a pair of poles for better stability when snowshoeing. Even more so, if you plan to snowshoe on uneven ground (slope, descent, etc) or in powder where you risk sinking in more. There are 2 types of baskets - choose wide ones so that the poles stay on the surface.

Choose breathable clothing for snowshoeing:

We tend to over-equip ourselves when hiking in snow for fear of getting cold. However, we warm up very quickly when snowshoeing.
Adopt the 3-layer technique!
This technique lets you modulate your body heat according to the amount of effort you put in: remove an item of clothing when it’s hot, put it back on when it gets colder or during breaks. If you get too hot, you will sweat more, which cools you down during breaks or downhill phases.

Dress using the 3-layer technique?

To dress correctly in the winter, no matter what your activity is, we recommend that you apply the 3 layer principle:
layer 1: The technical base layer will enable damp to be wicked away to keep skin dry.
layer 2: The second layer (fleece, pullover) provides warmth and wicks away the damp.
layer 3: The jacket protects you from outdoor conditions: rain, snow, wind.
The outfit must be breathable to wick away damp.

For snowshoeing, you need warm, waterproof and breathable tall hiking boots. Also go for boots with good grip for the sections where you remove your snowshoes (in the car park or if there’s too little snow).

For off-trail hiking, get maps, compass and/or GPS and carry an Avalanche Victim Detector, shovel and probe. These three items will help find you if you’re caught in an avalanche, or to look for a victim. And don’t forget to review the safety basics.
