TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Lightweight

The QST Access 70 T is one of the lightest junior shoes on the market, to enable children to ski for longer.

BACKBONE

Magnesium part connecting the top cuff to the lower shell for back support, improving rebound when coming out of turns and offering a gradual, yet powerful front flex.

HIKE & RIDE TECHNOLOGY

The system combines the backbone release with a specific "V"-cut shape at the back of the lower shell. It enables the cuff to be opened wide when hiking (unlocked Backbone) and to obtain real flex when going downhill (backbone locked) since the rear of the Backbone adapts perfectly to the V-shaped bottom of the shell.

Buckle adjustment

3 micro aluminium mix buckles.

Sizing

Wide shoe for comfort and warmth, for those who want to ski everywhere. Good heel support

What is flex?

To provide an indication of rigidity, brands assign a flex rating to every boot. This number determines the rigidity of the whole: the higher the value more rigid the casing.
A flex of 60 is considered best for skiers of intermediate to advanced level.
A flex level of 65 to 75 is intended for intermediate skiers. Beyond that, the products are addressed to advanced skiers. The strong gauges can however increase by a level.

How do you try on ski boots?

Once your foot is in the boot, fasten the buckles to the midpoint. Can you go further? This means the volume of the boot isn't right for you. Once you've fastened your boots, you need to flex 3 times while pushing your calves forward (put your hands on your knees), which will push your heel back into the boot. Stand up: your foot should touch the end of the shell. When you flex, your foot should move backwards so you can no longer feel the end.
