Are roller skis compatible with my cross-country ski boots?

Our pair of roller skis are sold with Rottefella bindings, compatible with standard cross-country ski boots: NNN (Rottefella), PROLINK (Salomon and Atomic) and TURNAMIC (Fischer and Rossignol).

How to look after my roller skis?

To avoid asymmetrical wear, we advise you to switch the right and left skis regularly.
For your safety, remember to check and replace used wheels.

Are roller skis equipped with a braking system?

No, our roller skis are not equipped with a braking system.
To brake, you need to master braking techniques such as the snow plough or stopping by turning.
Before you get started, as with cross-country skiing, you need to master a minimum level of technique, so we advise you to begin on flat ground without other traffic: an empty car park or little-used cycle path to get started and practise gliding, slalom and braking.

Why is it necessary to be well equipped to practise roller skiing?

Roller skiing is an activity with risk potential, in particular without technical training and adapted equipment.
To avoid injuries and accidents, protection is essential for roller skiing, and we recommend you wear a helmet and gloves to protect your head and hands in case of falls on tarred surfaces.
Opt for a colourful outfit or fluorescent vest to be clearly visible to other users.

Is it possible to move the bindings to fit my size?

Our roller skis are equipped with a pre-drilled aluminium frame so you can move the binding according to your boot size.
Position 1 = base-mounted position on our roller skis - recommended for sizes smaller than 10
Position 2 = advanced position - recommended for sizes larger than 10 inclusive
In order to do this, we advise visiting your local workshop.
