Technical Information

Are rollerskis compatible with my cross-country ski boots?

Our pair of roller skis are sold with Rottefella bindings, which are compatible with standard cross-country ski boots: NNN (Rottefella), PROLINK (Salomon and Atomic) and TURNAMIC (Fischer and Rossignol).
Caution: our rollerskis are not compatible with SNS standard boots.

How to look after your rollerskis?

To avoid asymmetrical wear, switch the right and left skis regularly.
For your safety, remember to check and replace worn wheels.

Are roller skis equipped with a braking system?

No, our roller skis are not equipped with a braking system.
To slow down, you need to be able to control your speed using techniques such as the snow plough or step turn.
Before you get started, as with cross-country skiing, you need to learn some basic skills. Start by practising on flat ground without any other skiers around you: an empty car park or little-used cycle path to get started and practise gliding, turning and braking.

Why is it necessary to be well equipped to practise roller skiing?

Roller skiing can be a dangerous activity particularly if you do not know the basic skills and do not have the right equipment.
To avoid injuries and accidents, protection is an essential part of roller skiing. We recommend that you wear a helmet and gloves to protect your head and hands in case of falls on tarmac.
Opt for a colourful outfit or hi vis vest to be clearly visible to other users.

Is it possible to move the bindings to suit my boot size?

Our roller skis are equipped with a pre-drilled aluminium frame so you can move the binding according to your boot size.
Position 1 = default position on our rollerskis - recommended for sizes smaller than 10
Position 2 = forward position - recommended for size 10 and above
To change the position, we recommend that you go to your local workshop.
