All seams are waterproofed with thermobonded strips.
Bedroom in breathable, water repellent 40D polyester and mosquito netting to help prevent contact with condensation .
Wind resistance We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a rotating platform where we can expose each side of the tent to the wind.
To test its wind resistance, the tent must be properly pitched, taut but not stretched, with all the guy ropes in position around the tent. It should remain habitable at wind speeds of 70km/h, measured near ground level.
Ventilation and condensation prevention Bedroom contains mosquito netting for ventilation and water repellent fabric to prevent condensation and draughts. Large vent at front of tent's fly sheet and additional vent at feet end.
To reduce condensation inside your tent, it must be properly assembled, with the fabric kept taut without over-stretching. Use of vents and good air circulation will help reduce humidity inside your tent.
Sun protection The fabric flysheet filters UV rays with a SPF of 30.
Please note: a large amount of UV can enter through a single open door.
Protect your skin.

Care instructions: 1 CLEANING - if needed, clean the tent with soapy water, then rinse (with a hose if possible). Then dry completely. 2 TREE SAP STAINS - ...very hard to remove: once the stain is fully dry, gently scratch it off while holding an ice cube on the inside of the fabric to make the sap brittle so it will come off more easily. 3 STORAGE - after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odours and mould from forming.
Stock advice STORAGE: after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odours and mould from forming.
Test Product QUECHUA tent waterproofing is approved for the whole tent under 200l of water/hour/sqm. The water column test (=mm schmerbers) only measures fabric waterproofing. We design our tests using a laboratory shower to prevent any water from entering through the seams, flaps, openings, zips, etc.
