7 pockets in the bedroom.

Poles, pegs

Aluminium Ø 10.25 mm DAC Featherlite DAC Featherlite NSL lightweight and resistant to breakage and frost.
Tent pegs: heavy duty and lightweight aluminium DAC corner stakes.

Setting up/taking down

Extremely quick assembly or disassembly. The double-roof and the room are pre-assembled. Poles are attached to sleeves in tent, so you can save precious time when pitching. Dismantling is equally as rapid.
To store the tent in the cover, simply attach the poles together in elastics (once folded), fold up the tent until it's roughly the width of the cover and then tightly roll up the tent and poles.

Waterproofing

Quechua tents are validated in the laboratory (tent mounted under 200 litres/metre² per hour for 4 hours, the equivalent of a tropical rainfall), as well as in field test missions.
40 denier polyester (PE) double roof, coated polyurethane (inside) & silicone outer, PE 75D room mat.
Seams sealed with heat-sealed strips.
Room in PE 40D breathable and water-repellent, partly made of mosquito net, to avoid contact with condensation drops.

Wind resistance

We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a rotating platform where we can expose each side of the tent to the wind.
To test its wind resistance, the tent must be properly pitched, taut but not stretched, with all the guy ropes in position around the tent. It should remain habitable at wind speeds of 70km/h, measured near ground level.

Ventilation and condensation prevention

Bedroom with mosquito netting for ventilation and sections in water repellent fabric to protect against condensation and drafts. Large ventilation at the front of the double roof of the tent, as well as ventilation at the feet. In order to limit the condensation inside your tent, the stretched canvas must be properly installed, without excess tension. The use of ventilation and good air circulation limits the humidity inside your tent.

Sun protection

The flysheet fabric filters UV rays with an UPF of 30.
Please note: a large amount of UV rays can pass through an open door.
Protect your skin.

Ecodesign

Complete tent made out of 20% recycled material, reduces the environmental impact of the product.
Double roof made up of 50% recycled materials.
The bedroom is made of a "mass dyed" component that reduces the amount of water used.
The poles are coloured thanks to an innovative anodising which eliminates the use of nitric and phosphoric acids.

A score for comparing products' environmental impact

The environmental impact of the product is calculated based on the life cycle of the product and with different indicators. A global score ranging from A to E is attributed so that you can easily identify the products with a better environmental performance compared to products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc.).
Decathlon totally backs the environmental labelling approach. For more info: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/

OUR COMMITMENTS
Test Product The waterproofing of Quechua tents is validated, tent mounted, under 200 litres of water/m²/H (tropical rain) during 4 hours excluding any passage of water through seams, flaps, openings, zips, etc.. The water column test (=mm Schmerber) only measures the waterproofing of the fabric. Wind resistance: tents are set up in a wind tunnel on a rotating platform to expose each side of the tent to the wind. We also carry out numerous field tests in real-life conditions.
Guarantee : 2 years. All our tents are repairable. Parts and information in store or on decathlon.fr
