TECHNICAL INFORMATION

How do you install the wheels in the shoes?

Place the wheel in the herringbones and ensure that the wheel axle is properly aligned with the axle arms.
• With the palm of your hand, push the wheel into the herringbones as hard as possible. You should hear a click that means the wheel is properly secured.
• Check that the wheel is properly attached and aligned, and after putting on the shoe, try pushing hard on the heels as a last test.

How do you remove the wheel covers?

In addition to the covers, all Heely models are sold with a cover removal kit. To remove the wheel covers, insert the tool provided all the way into the slit between the wheel cover and the sole. Then detach the cover by pulling. It should be easy to detach at this point. Take care to remove the covers far from yourself and others, to prevent flying debris and injuries.

How do you remove the wheels?

Hold your shoes backwards so that the wheels are facing you. Place both thumbs (one on top of the other) against the side of the nearest wheel, and pop the wheel out by the top.
Since the axles have forced pressure arms, the wheels can initially be difficult to remove.
If the wheels still aren't loosened after step 2, try the same thing but from the other side of the wheel.

2-wheel or 1-wheel Heelys?

2 wheels: They are perfect for young children trying Heelys for the first time. Heelys with two wheels provide more stability for better balance. Once the user feels comfortable enough on one wheel, they can even remove the two smaller front wheels to get a pair of 1-wheel Heelys.

Heelys Shoes

You can also remove the wheels in order to use Heelys like a simple pair of shoes.
