- What does it mean for a bag to be water-repellent?Water repellent does not mean waterproof. A fabric's degree of water repellency refers to its ability to keep water from soaking in. Your bag will stay dry in drizzle. Over time, a fabric's water repellency can lessen. You'll need to restore it on a regular basis. You can use our water-repellent spray, available in our stores and online.
