YOU ARE A BEGINNER SURFER

You are learning to surf or surf only a few times a year, during your holidays or a surf trip. You stay where you can touch the bottom, in tiny waves or broken waves. You surf for the pleasure of being in the water and for the feeling you get from it. During your sessions, you often fall but you fall in waves that are not very powerful. We have designed a wide range of swimwear for you, to suit your occasional practice and your body shape.

ACTIVE AT THE BEACH!

Whether you be a surfer or enjoy bathing in the sea, you don’t want to lose your swimsuit! This is why we test all our swimsuits in the waves. Each model is designed for surfing and perfectly suits other watersports: stand-up paddle boarding, sailing, kite surfing, bathing, etc.

BODY SHAPE

When a woman starts surfing, she needs a swimsuit with an outfit adapted to very small waves Ideally this suit should also be adapted for her other activities. That's why we designed the 1-piece MAE. Very feminine, this swimsuit is inspired by the triangle. Its back is very open but its wide neck and back provide a good hold in the waves and limits the points of tension. The padded cups are removable.

STAYS IN PLACE IN THE WAVES: THE TEST

We design swimsuits that promise to stay in place in the waves. To test them, we use a panel of female surfers with different body shapes who follow a test protocol in a pool at our design offices in Hendaye, southwest France. This protocol aims to reproduce the sensations experienced by surfers when being thrown around by a wave. If this test is conclusive, we go surfing in the sea to test our swimwear in real conditions.

FEEL BEAUTIFUL IN OUR SWIMMING COSTUMES

For 6 years, we have been working to show women's bodies with one goal: to make women feel beautiful in our swimwear. The chest is not crushed, the bum is not highlighted and the cleavage is enhanced. Our mission is to ensure that every woman, whatever her body type or size, finds a swimming costume that suits her.

DRY SIZING AND WET SIZING

To ensure a perfect fit in the water, it is important to choose the right size while you are dry because once they are in the water, swimsuits become looser. We therefore recommend you buy the correct size. The swimsuit needs to fit snugly against your body in the fitting room, you should feel supported. The elastane content in certain components used in the design of our swimsuits softens and relaxes in the water.

REMOVAL OF PLASTIC HYGIENE STICKERS FROM OUR SWIMWEAR

From 2022, all women's swimsuits designed by Decathlon will be sold without plastic hygiene stickers. This responsible decision was made to help protect our planet and reduce plastic use. Saving 940 km of plastic every year! Please do your bit by always keeping your underwear on in our changing rooms.
