At the Quechua design centre, products are developed and tested in the lab as well as outdoors in the rugged French mountains.
Waterproof testing
We measure waterproofness using columns of water in our lab. This coat withstood 5,000mm of H2O. In our shower test, it stayed dry for a 2-hour downpour (12cm of rain).
Real-life testing
User testing helped us to develop, refine, and approve this product.
