Design details

Waterproof properties

The coated fabric has a 2000 mm waterproof rating. The taped seams and design of this jacket will keep you dry for 2 hours in a shower equivalent to 60 litres of water per square metre per hour. We measure a fabric's resistance to a water column, in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the tissue is. This waterproof, windproof and silent jacket will protect you against bad weather.

Silence

Because silence is the key to success when hunting, even in the rain, our designers searched for a fabric which was soft to the touch and slightly downy so as to reduce friction noise while hunting. This allows you to use your binoculars, unsling your rifle or knock an arrow on your bow without being detected by the animal.

Breathability

To find out if a fabric is breathable, we test its evaporative resistance or RET (based on the ISO 11092 standard). The lower the fabric's RET, the more water vapour generated by an active body escapes through the fabric, and the higher the breathability. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric. For this jacket, the RET is 11.09 m2.Pa/W = breathable fabric.

2 hand warmer pockets and a waterproof chest pocket with key clip. This way you can keep your range finder or call handy, as you never know when you might need them. Preformed elbows and elasticated cuffs so that they stay in place as you take aim and shoot. The high neck will protect you from the rain and the cold.

When you're active snags can happen. The good news is that they can be repaired! You can apply an iron-on patch to prevent the tear from getting bigger or the fibres from coming out. A patch, scissors, an iron and that's it!

Cleaning

Do not dry clean.
Drying in tumble dryer possible. Low temperature, maximum drum exhaust temperature 60°C.
Ironing at a maximum soleplate temperature of 110°C. Steam treatment may cause irreversible damage.
Maximum washing temperature 30°C. Normal treatment.
Bleaching excluded.
