Design details

Warmth
To turn these mittens into a true cold weather ally, we have used 2.5 mm neoprene to ensure sufficient heat input for water temperatures up to 7°C.
Windproof
On the back of the hand, we used a "glide skin" type neoprene, i.e. the outer layer of the neoprene when it comes out of the baking ovens. This smooth finish gives a certain airtightness which allows the neoprene exposed to the wind to cool down less quickly, thus minimising heat loss.
