SMART MTB GLOVES: 2 PRESS STUDS
The press studs let you keep the right and left hands together. Why? To hang them on your handlebars so that you can finish packing your hydration backpack.
To clip them to our new ST 500 shorts when taking a break.
To never have to look for that missing glove out of the wash or in the drawer.
TERRY CLOTH FOR PERSPIRATION
Because mountain bikers perspire as much as tennis players, a small section of the thumb is made of terry cloth. It also comes in handy for runny noses.
The materials selected
Our engineers and designers closely studied the hand's contact points when mountain biking. They have chosen:
- a material on the back of the hand that withstands vegetation.
- a material on the palm that grips the handlebars well.
- silicone bands to grip the brakes (on 3 fingers, because that's all you need to brake).
Certain contact points, like the palm, are also padded while others are breathable.
These gloves are smartphone compatible. You can track your GPS routes, use your apps or take photos at any time with the touchscreen-friendly fabric on the fingertips.
Our team of product designers based at the B'Twin Village in Lille is continuously working to make cycling more comfortable for our users.
Our obsession is to create products that meet the specific cycling needs of our users and eliminate things that get in the way of their rides.
A rating to compare products' environmental impact.
A product's environmental impact is calculated for its entire life cycle using various indicators.
An overall rating (ABCDE) is given, allowing you to easily identify products with the best environmental performance by comparing similar products to each other (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks etc.).
Decathlon openly displays the environmental ratings of its products.
