- Sun protection and new interior finishUPF 50+ component: blocks at least 98% of UVB rays and 95% of UVA. We have changed the interior finish, or coating. It is now white for optimal protection on all colours.
- Behaviour when in the sunAlthough this cover provides protection from the sun, phenomena such as reflections (from the water, sand, etc.), heat, time of day, etc., must be taken into account. The use of this shelter does not exempt the user from following the relevant advice: wear a UV protection T-shirt, wear sunglasses, wear a hat or cap, regularly apply an appropriate sun cream, drink regularly, etc.
- Resistance to windThe Paruv 160 parasol can withstand winds of up to 20 km/h when the tube is pushed 25cm into the sand. The screw-on orange foot, which is available separately, increases wind resistance by 10 km/h.
- Parasol that can be inclined using the Tilt accessory, which is sold separately.All the PARUV parasols can be inclined at 35° and 50° with the "Tilt incline paruv" accessory. This accessory is sold separately and exclusively in Decathlon stores.
