At the office you can remove the battery to charge it, or you can plug the bike in without taking the battery out. Component wise the Basis ebike has 20” CST tyres, adjustable quick release seatpost, full mudguards, front suspension and alloy V Brakes. A side stand is fitted along with a luggage rack with bungee straps. The bike will be delivered 100% fully assembled. You just need to unfold the pedals, frame and handlebar. Most of the energy passing through the drivetrain on an e-bike is from you the rider. The Shimano 6 speed gearing system is more than enough for city streets and even the odd country lump when used with the 3 pedal assist functions on the 250 watt power system.
