OUR NEW "MEDIUM DENSITY" CHAMOIS PAD

We have created this "medium density" chamois pad to keep you more comfortable in the saddle.
The fabric is soft and breathable. The padded zone is soft, with a density of 100 kg/m3 and a thickness of 13mm. The fabric is perforated to allow perspiration to escape. This pad keeps you comfortable in the saddle when riding for around 2 hours

Its shape

To design the shape of the padding (area with thicker foam), we conducted tests on a pressure pad before moulding the pad on a mannequin and carrying out sizing and usage tests. This test, conducted on real cyclists, involves measuring the pressure points exerted on the saddle. The padded area covers the contact points that experience the greatest pressure. There is a dart at the front for a better fit.

Reinforced areas

The ischiums are well-covered, and the perineum is also protected. The reinforced area is relatively narrow between the legs to prevent irritation/rubbing while pedalling. Channels have been embossed into the reinforcements to provide greater flexibility.
