For the foam, we partnered up with Arkema, a leading French chemicals company. This alliance gave rise to VFOAM in Pebax ®, 20% more dynamic than conventional shoes. Internally, we developed the carbon plate with our innovative cell. The foam/carbon plate combo acts like a spring, returning 75% of the energy exerted.
- HIGH-PERFORMANCE AND ROBUSTWith the KD900X, you no longer have to choose between robustness and high performance! At Kiprun, we pride ourselves on the robustness of our shoes. During the design phase for the KD900X, we put particular emphasis on the distance these shoes can cover. We had them tested by some demanding runners: up to 1,500 km by one of our testers!
- LIGHT WEIGHT FOR ENHANCED PERFORMANCEThe research and development studies have shown that a lighter product improves running performance by reducing energy consumption. To design the KIPRUN KD900X, we made no sacrifices on comfort and robustness. We selected the most lightweight materials and optimised the sole design. As a result, the KIPRUN KD900X weighs 225 g in size 8.

- TESTED AND APPROVED BY OUR ATHLETE YOANN KOWALDuring the Lille semi marathon on March 20, 2022, Yoann beat his personal record, finishing in 1h02'17 wearing KD900X shoes: a real achievement in an approved race. Yoann particularly appreciated their light weight and excellent grip on the road, especially on damp ground in hairpin bends, where the propulsion really came through.
