Detailed description
Polyethylene plastic shell to cover the shin. Lined with EVA foam that also partially covers the sides of the leg. Extended downward with a stitched ankle guard with small hard plastic shells over the malleolus and front of the ankle, the whole thing lined 360° with low-density foam, all in a thick, elasticated fabric. The low-density foam on the ankle guard also covers the Achilles tendon.

There are holes for ventilation. The ankle guard has an elasticated strap that fits under the foot. Open shell. The product stays in place with an elasticated rip-tab that closes over the calf. Not asymmetrical.

Which size?
"Place the shin guard as low as possible on your leg so that your ankles are well covered (make sure there are no pressure points and your ankle can move freely). Ideally, the top of the shin guard should come to 2 cm below your kneecap. Your shin guard should fit snugly around your calf without being too tight.

A shin guard is a piece of personal protection equipment. It should meet current regulations, including the PPE regulation (EU) 2016/425.
Use a shin guard that was specifically designed for field hockey. A field hockey shin guard has two features specific to the sport: it covers the ankles and rises up to the kneecap, and it provides wide coverage around the legs.
