Snow and cold test
All Wedze products are conceived, designed and developed in the Mont Blanc Valley. Each product is rigorously tested in conditions you would encounter for real: out on the slopes, in the cold and snow. This ensures that the product is perfectly suited for use, whatever the conditions.
How to wash
Wash the jacket on its own. Close the zips and pockets. Turn the jacket inside out. This will prevent the outer layer from tearing while washing. Deep stubborn stains should be cleaned with a down cleaner, 15 minutes beforehand. Run a cold wash, select Delicates programme or a hand-wash setting. Run several spin cycles, gently wring any excess water by hand. Take care not to crush the down filling too much. Dry the jacket in a well-ventilated space. A tumble dryer will produce the best results.
How to re-waterproof
There are 2 ways to re-waterproof your item. 1: Use water-repellent reactivation spray. Spray your item about 20cm from the fabric. Apply evenly over the entire item. Leave to dry for up to 12 hours. 2: Use waterproofing liquid. By hand, soak the item for 25 minutes in 30°C water with the waterproofing liquid. By washing machine, pour the waterproofing liquid in the softener compartment and use a 30°C delicates programme. Do not use any washing liquid or softener.
Storing
Store on a hanger and do not fold, as this can damage the fabric's water-resistance. Dry thoroughly before storing in a dry, well-ventilated place.
