- How to make the most of the comfort of this camping shower tent?This shower tent offers comfort and privacy. You can equip it with our 10 L pressure shower (ref: 8650195), our dry toilet (ref: 8771350), our compact 10 L sink with grey water recovery (ref: 8829976) and our 10 L jerrycan (ref: 8513669).
- How is the camping shower tent equipped?With 2.5 m² of surface area, this camping shower tent offers a pleasant, comfortable space. A removable curtain lets you separate shower, sink and dry toilet areas. Two groundsheets, one for the shower and the other for getting out of the shower, also provided, help reduce contact of your wet feet with the ground. It’s also equipped with 4 large holdall pockets for storing your belongings, and a laundry line to dry your towels or laundry.
- How to assemble the camping shower tent- Remove the shower tent from its cover and unfold it -Close 1 of the 2 valves -Inflate the tubes to 7 PSI pressure, Quechua Ultim pump (Ref: 8601387) - Once inflated, the structure is free-standing, and you can move it very easily -Two adjustable poles are supplied with the shower tent to provide rigidity in height -Peg down the base and guy ropes - 2 groundsheets supplied, the smaller for the shower area; as well as a removable separation curtain
- How to take down the camping shower tent- Remove the pegs and 2 ground mats (clean and dry them first) - Remove the 2 poles - Open the 2 valves to deflate the shower tent - Fold the shower tent on itself - Then roll it up using the cover with the poles inside - Put it in its carry cover To help you follow the different steps, instructions are provided in the carry cover.
- How to ventilate the camping shower tentTo remove water during your shower, the space on the ground is open to prevent water stagnating. You need to lift the groundsheet at times to dry it. To help ventilate the shower tent, it has a large zipped side opening, a window with mesh cover and a roof that opens.
- What sun protection does the camping shower tent provide?The Ti0² -coated fabric is SPF 50+.
- What level of waterproofing does the camping shower tent provide?We tested our shower tent to validate its waterproofing. The first test is done in the laboratory, 3 hours under 200 litres of water per hour per sqm, equivalent to 200 mm tropical rain per hour. The second test is done in the field under real-life conditions by our teams. This shower tent is designed with a 2000 mm polyurethane-coated polyester roof and taped seams using heat-sealed strips and 2 x 195 g/m² polyethylene groundsheets.
- What level of wind resistance does the camping shower tent provide?This shower tent has been tested in a wind tunnel on a rotating platform. The aim is to expose each side of the tent to the same wind intensity. Properly pitched, with the guy ropes deployed, this outdoor shower tent can resist wind speed 7, measured at 60 km/h. Feel free to re-inflate your inflatable poles regularly during your stay at the campsite (7 PSI).
- Is the camping shower tent repairable?Our shower tent is ideal for several nights’ camping. Over time, some parts may wear out or break. Spare parts and repairs for inflatable hoops are available at the workshop of your Decathlon store or on our website. The fabric can be repaired with a tescon repair patch. - How are the tent poles and pegs designed for the camping shower tent?Inflatable pole: All our inflatable poles have a two-layer arch structure: a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) air chamber and a 600-denier polyester cover*. Shower tent reinforcement: two adjustable aluminium poles are provided to stiffen the structure. Tent pegs: all our pegs are made of steel and have a diameter of 6 mm. *600 denier indicates a weight of 600 g for 9 m length.
- How to look after our camping shower tentOur camping shower tent has been designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) during your camping trips. Continued exposure to UV rays or humidity over several weeks can damage the fabric section. This product is not classified as “garden furniture” and isn’t designed to be left outdoors permanently. To guarantee it the longest possible life, it's important to store it away when not in use.
