- A PRODUCT DESIGNED FOR ENDURANCE WORKOUTSDesigned for endurance efforts where you experience a dry, sugar-saturated mouth, this gel does its job very well during your long trails, triathlons, or marathons. It provides energy, but with a low level of sweetness thanks to the maltodextrin. The taste is subtle.
- WHEN SHOULD I TAKE MY CAFFEINE-ENRICHED HYDROGEL?Take a cola-flavored Hydro gel + as soon as you feel a decrease in alertness or a sensation of fatigue, preferably halfway through your workout (as it takes 60 to 90 minutes to ensure caffeine is optimally absorbed by the body).Unlike traditional gels, there is no need to drink water to absorb the gel. Very convenient if you don't have water readily available!
- WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF CAFFEINE?Caffeine helps to increase alertness and reduce the perception of effort difficulty and pain. It will thus help to improve your performance. Caffeine leaves a bitter taste (like coffee), which may make you feel the need to rinse your mouth afterwards. If you dislike bitterness, this product is not for you.
- WHAT SHOULD I TAKE IN ADDITION TO MY GEL?60 g of carbohydrates (=sugar) per hour of sport: this is what nutritionists recommend for workouts lasting more than 3 hours. This 53ml gel contains 23g of carbohydrates, including 8.4g of simple sugars. We therefore recommend consuming 500 ml of isotonic drink per hour in addition to the gel. No drink-carrying solution? You can consume this gel on its own, alternating with the caffeine-free peach flavour, at a rate of 2 to 3 gels per hour.
- ORIGIN AND REGULATION - LET US TELL YOU MORE.These gels are made in France. What about anti-doping rules? The product complies with the AFNOR NF V94-001 anti-doping standard at the time of the batch manufacturing.
