DESIGN

90% down and 10% feather padded jacket for comfort and lightness. We’ve added heat zones where you need them most, adapted to the needs of freeriders. Stretch areas on the back, sides and under the arms for freedom of movement. The stretch fabric is very breathable and also wicks away perspiration. A hood that fits under the helmet and high collar to protect you from bad weather.

Directions for use

During times of intense physical exertion, dressing too warmly can actually make you feel cold. The perspiration is unable to escape and therefore remains in constant contact with your skin. It is therefore useful to have a liner jacket that you can remove in more mild temperatures. It's also important to open the vents before you get too hot and close them before you get cold when the intensity of your physical effort decreases, as it does on the ski lifts.

What should you wear under your skiing jacket?

To keep warm and dry, use the 3-breathable-layers rule: 1 skiing base layer, 1 intermediate layer liner jacket to retain warmth and 1 outer layer ski jacket to protect you from the elements. Layer 1: it keeps you dry by wicking away the perspiration from the skin to the other layers. Layer 2: it provides warmth, this is the case for down jackets or fleece pullovers.

Fill power of the down/feather filling

For this jacket filled with 90% down / 10% feathers The fill power is the capacity of the down to insulate by "trapping" a certain volume of air. Down with higher fill power takes up more space, trapping more air and providing greater thermal insulation.

How to wash your feather down jacket?

Here are a few tips: close all the zips on your down jacket and put it in the washing machine, synthetic cycle at 30°C. How to dry my down jacket ?

When you take your down jacket out of the washing machine, it will seem as if the down has gone. THE TUMBLE DRYER is the best way to restore the fill power of the feathers. Put your down jacket in the tumble dryer with 2 tennis balls. Run 2-3 drying cycles. Care instructions

Storage

Store in a clean and dry place. Do not store folded.

Cleaning

Do not dry clean.
Drying in tumble dryer possible. Low temperature, maximum drum exhaust temperature 60°C.
Do not iron.
Maximum wash temperature of 30°C. Very moderate treatment.
Bleaching excluded.

Wash alone.
Secure fasteners closed before washing. Gentle cycle, machine wash cold with like colors. Wash with mild detergent or down wash and 2 clean tennis balls. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Rinse thoroughly at least twice. Tumble dry low with 2 clean tennis balls. Remove promptly and fluff after each cycle until dry. Do not dry clean, iron or steam. Store in a cool and dry location.
Do not use fabric softener.
Wash with zip closed.
