- Angler adviceThis “floating” jig can be used with a bracket rig. You’ll need to use a sinker or weighted jig in the end section of the rig and add one or two brackets to attach this jig. The bottom-to-top movement is created by using wide jerks or short, quick jerks to twitch the jig. These movements are ideal when fishing for squid and cuttlefish.
