Protective foam

XRD® foam: Their unique open cell structure helps XRD® materials to retain their qualities after prolonged use. The foam provides excellent recoil protection. Microban® antimicrobial treatment prevents build-up of bacteria. Contains no latex, PVC or other solvents likely to irritate the skin. Microscopic technology adapts to your body shape. Ergonomics, safety: evaluated according to EN ISO 13688 (2013).

Directions for use

This gilet ceases to be a protective garment if the foam is removed while shooting. The clothing should be a snug fit so that the foam is positioned correctly, in line with the butt of the gun, for optimal shock reduction. - Wash the gilet at 30°C (with foam removed) - Do not iron - Do not tumble dry - Do not dry clean

Use restriction - This is a Personal Protection Equipment product, for non-professional use.

Wearing this product does not dispense the wearer from complying with current safety codes when clay pigeon shooting. Do not use bleach. Do not iron. It is recommended not to store this product in a damp environment. Store in a dry, well-ventilated place to let perspiration evaporate. Do not store close to a source of heat. Avoid any contact with chemicals.

Component durability.

Thanks to fabric inserts on chest (50%polyamide and 50% polyurethane).

Breathability

Added mesh provides more stretch and comfort during movement. Astragal fabric brings greater breathability and faster drying.

Freedom of movement

Elasticated waistband. Cut out at shoulders. Mechanical stretch 2D mesh. Inner chest pockets to suit left- and right-handed users.

Microfibre towel

Composition: 90.0% Polyester, 10.0% Polyamide. Will not tear. Highly absorbent. Dimensions: 30 x 30 cm.

Pockets

4 reinforced front pockets with bellows and press studs for more capacity (25 cartridges in each pocket). Very versatile chest pocket with zip for added safety. Rear game pocket.

Double ended zip

Convenient durable 8mm double-ended zip.

Side straps

2 side loops for attaching accessories (ear defenders, gloves...).

Product testing

The XRD foam inside the gilet is capable of absorbing recoil shock from the gun while you are clay shooting. Test results show shock absorption of 49%* *Foam tests conducted using a benchtop tester on a hard rubber base (baseline) reproducing a shot from a 3.5kg gun and 28g cartridge.
