- WHY CHOOSE A HELMET WITH BUILT-IN LIGHTING?This Btwin 900 city cycling helmet offers increased safety with powerful LED lighting and integrated light guides at the back of the helmet for 180-degree visibility. As the most visible point on a cyclist is the highest point, it is important to have light on the helmet, especially on poorly lit roads. Recharge via USB cable (cable included with helmet) You can replace your lighting unit in our after-sales service.
- Lighting: Battery life and charging timeRecharge time is 3.5 hours for a complete recharge cycle (i.e. from 0 to 100%). Lighting autonomy is 5 hours in fixed mode and 10 hours in flashing mode.
- WHY CHOOSE A HELMET WITH RETRACTABLE VISOR?This B'TWIN 900 urban helmet is equipped with a transparent category 0 visor. The visor protects urban cyclists from wind, cold, rain, projectiles and insects. The visor is retractable and can be raised. The visor is protected when raised as it fits inside the helmet and is safe from scratches. This curved visor is not suitable for all shapes of glasses. The visor can be changed in the after-sales service.
- HOW TO ADJUST YOUR HELMETFor maximum protection, the helmet should be in close contact with your head and the fastening system must always be correctly adjusted, without being too tight around your forehead. When the straps are properly adjusted the helmet should not slide forward, back, or sideways. For this reason there are several sizes available. We recommend that you try on different sizes to find the best fit.
- HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR HELMET SIZEIf you're between sizes, choose the bigger size. Choosing the right size helmet and getting the fit right is essential. For children, never buy a helmet that is too big on the assumption that they will grow. M: 55 cm - 59 cm L: 59 cm - 62 cm
- WHY DOES YOUR HELMET HAVE TO BE CHANGED EVERY 5 YEARS?It is recommended to replace your helmet every 5 years because beyond that time, depending on the conditions of use and maintenance, the shock-absorbing material may age and lose some of its absorption properties compared to new. To find out how old your helmet is, simply look at the production date on the inside of the helmet (often under the comfort foam). The handling of your helmet can also influence its life span.
- Returns conditions for personal protective equipmentMake sure that this product fits properly. If you do need to return it, you will need to make sure it still has: with the instructions, labels, and if applicable, original packaging.
- HOW TO LOOK AFTER YOUR HELMETDo not apply paint, detergent or other chemicals. Do not expose your helmet to temperatures above 50°C (122°F) (for example in a car in the sun). For maintenance, clean only with water, do not use detergents.
