CATANA EX SPIN

The Catana Spinning EX is the new and improved version of the Catana Spinning DX, which it replaces. The blank has been modified and really brings out the power mentioned above. The modern design is remarkable, especially thanks to the new Seaguide XSS reel seat and Vibraspot technology. The Catana range is designed to suit all types of fishing thanks to a wide variety of models. This is why its action is rather progressive.

Geofibre

Geofibre is a derived component used in our entry- and mid-range rods which provides great stiffness and incredible resistance to compression and traction.

XT carbon

XT carbon is used in all Shimano rods. Whenever you see XT followed by a number such as XT100, this indicates the tonne rating of the carbon fibre used and that it can withstand a given environment. When different types of carbon are used, the figures corresponding to those types are shown (e.g.: XT60/40).
