- What does the MH100 XL camping tent set contain?Inside your tent bag, you will find everything you need to pitch your tent: - 1 bedroom; - 1 waterproof flysheet; - 3 poles (2 black poles for the bedroom and 1 red pole for the flysheet); - 15 tent pegs; - 4 guy-ropes.
- How to pitch and take down the MH100 XL tentThe MH100 XL tent has a classic dome assembly. All you have to do is assemble the tent poles with the bedroom, and then fit the flysheet on top. Then, you have to add the 3rd tent pole for the storage area. To take down the tent, the process is the same, but in reverse.
- Which mattress is used with the MH100 XL dome tent? With the MH100 XL tent, we recommend using a self-inflating mattress or a 65 cm wide trekking mattress. It is not recommended to use an inflatable mattress over 8 cm thick in this tent. Indeed, this greatly reduces the volume inside the tent and increases condensation inside.
- How is condensation reduced in the MH100 XL tent?To allow for the flow and replacement of air between the bedroom and the flysheet, and to eliminate the natural formation of condensation as much as possible, the tent has 1 air vent at the top and 1 inner door with a mesh upper section.
- How is the waterproofness of the MH100 XL tent tested?Like all our tents, the MH100 XL tent has been tested in the lab and in the field to guarantee its waterproofing. This entire camping tent was placed under a shower pouring out 200 litres of water per hour for 3 hours. The flysheet is made of 2000mm Schmerber PU-coated polyester and the groundsheet is made of 120g/m² polyethylene. All the seams are sealed with thermobonded tape.
- What is the MH100 XL tent's wind resistance? The MH100 XL tent has been tested in a wind tunnel on a rotating platform to expose each of its sides. To confirm the test, the properly pitched tent with all guy ropes fitted around the tent must remain habitable in wind speeds up to 40 km/h near the ground (Force 5).
- Warranty of your tent:The MH100 XL camping tent was designed for occasional outdoor use (4 weeks per year) during your camping trips or in the countryside. Continuous exposure to UV light over a period of several weeks can damage its textile part. This product is not classified as “garden furniture” and isn’t designed to be left outdoors permanently. To maximise the lifetime of your tent, it's important to store it properly when it is not being used. 5-year warranty.
- Is the MH100 XL tent repairable? Our tents are great for camping at night. Over time, they age and some parts may wear out or break. To make it easier to repair, each piece (poles, flysheet, bedroom...) is available to buy in our stores. They can be replaced by you or in our workshops. Don't throw away, repair !
