- INTUITIVE CONSOLE FOR EASE OF USEThe Domyos W500 treadmill has an intuitive console with a back-lit LCD screen. A central screen displays the essential information you need: time, speed, distance, estimated calories burnt, and number of steps taken during your session. The centre button lets you switch to "goal mode" to set a goal for each workout. You can use the + and - buttons to adjust the speed from 0.5 to 8 km/h (0.1 km/h increments).
- DURABLE MOTOR AND ELECTRONIC COMPONENTSWe test the endurance of our motors and electronic parts for at least 600 hours - 25 days non-stop - to make sure that they are reliable over time and that you will be using your product in the best conditions. In particular, we check that the treadmill starts and stops gently, and that the walking deck moves fluidly so that your workout will be as comfy as possible.The W500 treadmill can be used up to 10 hours a week.
- SAFETY COMES FIRST AT DECATHLON!All treadmills must have an emergency stop system to guarantee the user's safety. We have fitted our treadmills with a safety key that can be attached to your clothing. If you fall off or move too far away from the console, the treadmill will stop automatically so that you don't risk injury.

Ecodesign approach
Repairability is the ability to offer a solution in the event of product breakage or failure. The repairability of a product is defined according to 4 criteria: - The availability of instructions on how to repair the product for customers - The possibility of disassembling the product - The availability of spare parts - The price of the repair is lower than purchasing a new product Our goal is to cover any possible known break or repair a product might have. We think about the life span of a product from the design stage, to ensure that it lasts as long as possible.
From ore extraction to transformation into finished products, the industrial production of metals is highly polluting. To reduce our environmental impact, we design products from recycled metal. This approach reduces the need for extracting new raw materials, uses 40% to 95% less energy, and cuts CO2 emissions by at least 10% compared to virgin metals. Recycled metal comes from the recycling of scrap metal. After a process of sorting, cleaning, and crushing, the scrap metal is melted and refined to obtain a material of comparable quality to virgin metal.
