You must select your ski touring boots based upon how you will use them.
It is a trade-off between performance in the descent, and support, rigidity and
comfort when climbing (low weight/range of movement).
For versatile boots (freeride, hiking, multi-purpose on the slopes), 4 hooks offer greater support and precision.
For resort and mountain use, the 2 hooks are more suitable and lightweight, and enable more range of movement.
Liner comfort
The thermoshaped liner also makes the inside of the boots more comfortable. You can therefore thermoform the liner so that it adapts to the shape of your foot.
We recommend you also adjust your liners with the laces (supplied) to avoid friction and blisters, which can occur as a result.
It is also important to take the time to try on different models of boot, to find the one that suits your feet the best.
Boot adjustment system
The cable, that forms a "Z" pattern on the instep of the boot provides good retention of the forefoot. The metal buckle can be used to make very fine adjustments.
Cuff travel
This boot has a 70° angle of cuff travel, thereby improving ankle mobility and making it easy to tackle changes in altitude!
