Technical information

How to choose your cross-country ski poles?

Choosing the right size of cross-country ski poles is essential for skiing properly.

For skate skiing: the poles are bigger in order to maximise the push-off
For classic cross-country skiing: the poles are smaller.

They can be made of:
Aluminium: they will be sturdy and heavy = ideal for beginners,
Fibreglass: they will be lighter, but more fragile,
Carbon fibre and other materials: very light and rigid.

How to choose the size of my SKATE SKI poles?

There are two ways of choosing your pole size for SKI SKATING:

1- Choose poles that are at the height of your shoulders
2 - Multiply your height in cm X 0.89 to work out the size of your poles

How to choose the size of my CLASSIC CROSS-COUNTRY SKI poles?

TESTS

Our design team is based at the foot of the Mont Blanc in Haute-Savoie, France. All year round, our designers create and develop products that are good, simple, and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field because we believe that the only way to continually improve is to test our products in the same real-life conditions you will experience. All our poles undergo a battery of tests: tube flex, handle adhesion, tip corrosion.
