How did we test the effectiveness of the TROPIC 900 hat against mosquito bites?

How did we test efficiency in preventing mosquito bites? We tested the efficiency of this hat in a specialised laboratory. 60 female mosquitoes of 3 different species (Aedes, Culex and Anopheles) were placed in a sealed room (yes! only female mosquitoes bite). How effective is the mosquito net on the TROPIC 900 hat?

The World Heath Organisation recommends at least 25 holes per cm² to stop mosquitoes effectively. With 40 holes per sqcm, the mosquito net used on this hat won't let any through. This net is untreated.
