It improves UV resistance compared to the polyester traditionally used for tents, and therefore extends the lifespan of your tent. It limits condensation and improves thermal insulation and noise, for peaceful nights
- How to care for your polycotton tentThe fabric must be thoroughly dry before storing it away to prevent mould. It is also important to keep the fabric clean and to deal with stains as quickly as possible. It is advised to wipe away dust with a soft brush.
- How do I set up and take down my tent?Pull on both ropes on each side of the tent to open its self-supporting structure, and then find the ideal place and drive in the pegs. To store, remove the pegs, press on the two “push buttons”, collect the poles and slide into its bag. Easy!
- Which type of mattress should you use?A self-inflating mattress or a 70 cm wide trekking mattress are most recommended. We advise against the use of inflatable mattresses that are more than 8 cm thick in this tent. The interior volume will be reduced and condensation inside may be more pronounced.
- Ventilation of the tentTwo doors and two side air vents create lots of air flow when they are opened. A space between the flysheet and the inner bedroom (breathable mesh) is built in to the entire surface of the tent to allow air to circulate and reduce condensation.
- How waterproof is it?To check that it is waterproof, an initial test involves placing it under a water shower at a rate of 200 L per hour for three hours, equivalent to a tropical shower of 200 mm per hour. The second test is carried out by our teams in the field under real conditions
- Is the tent wind-resistant?This 2 Seconds Easy tent has been tested in a wind tunnel on a rotating platform to expose each of its sides. A properly pitched tent with all guy ropes fitted remains habitable in wind speeds up to 50 km/h measured near the ground (Force 6).

- Warranty of your tentThis camping tent has been designed for occasional outdoor use (four weeks per year) during your camping trips or in the countryside. Continuous exposure to UV light over a period of several weeks can damage its textile part. It is important to store it when not in use. 5-year warranty.
- Is the tent repairable?Over time during use, some parts may wear out or break. To make it easier to repair, each part (poles, flysheet, bedroom, etc.) is available on the Decathlon website or in the shops. They can be replaced in our workshops or you can do it yourself.
