IS ELECTRIC MTB A SPORT?
You have to pedal to go forward!
The electrical assistance mode boosts your pedalling by 40% to 340% (depending on which mode you choose) to help you tackle any obstacle.
You'll get to enjoy longer MTB rides.
The motor stops when you stop pedalling.
The walking mode compensates for the weight of the bike when you need to put your feet down.
Which is the right size?
Several sizes available:
S: between 1.60 m and 1.70 m
M: between 1.71 m and 1.80 m
L: between 1.81 m and 1.90 m
XL: between 1.91 m and 2.00 m
If you are between 2 sizes:
Choose the smaller size for easier steering (easier to handle) and comfort (straighter back).
Choose the larger size for easier pedalling with a more stretched-out position (position more suited to performance).
COMPACT, STABLE FRAME
Full suspension 6061 aluminium frame with a compact main triangle.
66° head angle. Parallelogram rear triangle geometry designed for 150 mm rear travel. Trunnion metric shock. The battery sits fully in the down tube.
85NM TORQUE MOTOR
Designed for demanding routes, and lighter and more compact than its predecessor, the BOSCH PERFORMANCE LINE CX motor (whose torque has been ramped up from 75Nm to 85 Nm for the 2021 model) gives you a smoother ride and better acceleration with its pedalling assistance of up to 340%. Its multiple sensors increase the precision and quality of the assistance for a more pleasant ride. It also has a much smoother assistance cut-out above 25 km/h.
BOSCH 2021 SOFTWARE
The new 2021 model: offers torque of up to 85 Nm, new motor control functions, and an improved eMTB mode, all in the form of a software update. By offering a more natural, intuitive, powerful ride, it is the gold standard for its category.
BOSCH BATTERY
The STILUS V2 all-mountain bike is equipped with a BOSCH POWERTUBE 625 Wh battery that lasts for up to 5 hours and 2000 m of ascent (depending on the route and operating mode).
BATTERY LOCK
It takes just 15 seconds to mount/remove the battery:
1. Slide the protective cover down
2. Turn the key
3. Press the alu lever on top of the battery
and you're done.
Your battery will always be protected from vibrations and big water/mud leaks.
CONTROL SCREEN
Equipped with the PURION screen: a sleek on-board computer designed for riders who want to keep their handlebar uncluttered.
When riding, you have easy access to all the info you need at the touch of a button.
Five different riding modes give you the assistance you need in any situation.
5 ASSISTANCE MODES
The STILUS bike has 5 different assistance modes: Eco, Tour, eMTB, Turbo and Walk.
Eco mode aims to be economical,
Tour mode is for versatile use,
eMTB mode is very versatile but perhaps a bit less economical
and Turbo mode is powerful for a big push.
For the most difficult sections, use "Walk" mode to help you easily push your bike while on foot.
INCREASED TORQUE
More powerful than ever: by increasing the torque to 85 Nm, there is a noticeable impact on handling. In particular, at a lower pedalling cadence, accelerations are faster and hill starts are much easier. On tough climbs, e-mountain bikers have more power at their disposal.
E-MTB: PERFECT CONTROL
Ready to take on any challenge: the eMTB mode gives you even more control for all-mountain riding without having to change assistance mode. The motor is incredibly sensitive to the force applied by the cyclist, particularly at a slower pace, which allows for extremely smooth hill starts
EXTENDED BOOST
Impressive all-terrain performances: Extended Boost (combined with BOOST mode) is a fantastic feature that lets you easily deal with roots, steps and rocks, even when climbing. This feature helps you tackle the most technical, demanding terrain more easily and with more agility.
ROCKSHOX SUSPENSION
ROCKSHOX 35 fork with 160 mm travel.
With new Burly 35mm damping rods for more stiffness and control, and a DebonAir™ air spring (which reduces friction), the shock absorption and response to loading are increased. ROCKSHOX Deluxe Select shock with 150 mm travel: The fully-adjustable DebonAir™ spring provides the same even feel as a coil spring throughout the travel.
SINGLE CHAINRING DRIVETRAIN
SRAM SX drive train, 1x12 single chainring, for lighter weight, more precision, faster gear changing, and greater durability.
Cassette: SRAM Eagle in 11-50 (11-13-15-17-19-22-25-28-32-36-42-50). The 50-tooth sprocket guarantees good gear reduction to help you climb the steepest slopes.
Special One-Click lever for e-bikes.
On this 2021 model, we have shortened the cranks to keep them off the ground when riding the most technical trails.
27.5+ Sunringle Duroc 40 Wheels
These wheels were specially designed for this mountain bike:
- 36 mm rims (distance between flanges), with 32 spokes at the front and back for more sturdiness and to snugly fit 2.6" tyres
- BOOST thru axles (12x148 rear and 15x110 front) for more rigidity
- aluminium hubs with sealed bearings.
- TUBELESS READY: pre-mounted rim strips; you will just need PRESTA valves and puncture sealant.
SCHWALBE TYRES
SCHWALBE Smart SAM 27.5 x 2.6 tyres.
This tyre has a modern, balanced profile so that it rolls comfortably but grips well at the sides for optimal all-mountain riding. Perfect for dry terrain. Please note: not tubeless ready.
HYDRAULIC DISC BRAKES
With the new SRAM Guide RE, you have great control at your fingertips.
The 4-piston callipers and new SwingLink lever technology bring better brake pad contact and increased braking control.
Some people love the instant power of a shorter lever reach. Others prefer a longer reach. With the contact point adjustment, you can choose your preferred finger position on the brakes.
HANDLEBAR, STEM
Short 50 mm aluminium stem for easier steering.
35 mm diameter, 760 mm long aluminium handlebar for more rigidity and control, and a 20 mm rise.
DROPPER SEAT POST
This bike is equipped with a dropper seat post measuring:
_ 100mm for size S
_ 125mm for size M
_ 150 mm for size L and XL
This allows you to lower your centre of gravity and not be bothered during the most technical descents.
You will be able to steer your bike more safely and reliably.
