Don't forget to remove the battery to handle the chain.
Store it in a warm, dry place away from corrosive products and salty air. Never store with the battery flat, and remember to recharge it at least once every six months.
ROCKRIDER products are tested throughout the design and development process before we take them on real terrain through real conditions.
Testing in the field
To make sure every ROCKRIDER product excels in its environment, after our designers and engineers are happy, we give them to a team of riders to put them to the test along real-life trails through wet, gravel, mud and grass. Our riders pay special attention to quality, traction and handling, and we make our final adjustments based on their feedback.
Manage electrical assistance
A screen located on the handlebars allows you to manage your assistance mode:
Mode 0 - Inactive
Mode 1 - Economy +40%
Mode 2 - Economy +80%
Mode 3 - Standard +160%
Mode 4 - Boost +320%
This display also provides information on your assistance level, battery status, speed, remaining battery life, and more.
Removing the battery
A lever allows you to quickly and easily position or remove your battery. The battery is snugly held in place during your MTB rides thanks to this system. You can also lock the battery with a key to prevent theft.
Care advice
Leave your battery on the bike when washing using a hose to protect the connectors from rusting. Store your bike in a warm, dry place away from corrosive products and salty air. Never store with the battery flat, and remember to recharge it at least once every six months.
Spare parts
Even with regular maintenance, it's common for some components to wear over time. Most bike repairs are relatively easy, so it's useful to have a few key tools so you can get back riding again quickly. Some tools are specific to bike parts and others are more common (Allen keys). Need to change some components? Take a look at our spare parts for the E-ST 900. However, if you do not want to tackle a repair yourself, your local Decathlon workshop will be happy to help.
