Bike Cassette

The bike cassette is found on the rear of your bike, forming part of thedrivetrain. The various sprockets on which your bike chain sits indicate different gears, allowing you to control the force behind your pedalling for different terrains.

Cassette Maintenance

If you keep your bike cassette clean and ensure your bike is stored in a sheltered environment, it should last a long time. However, if you’re having trouble changing gears or your chain frequently slips, inspect your cassette for damage. You might need to replace it if it has become rusted or otherwise damaged.
